Across capital markets, regulated issuers, and the largest names in finance, a new foundation is being built.
At the center of that shift is Plume, the first permissionless, full-stack blockchain purpose-built for real-world asset finance (RWAfi).
Over the last several months, Plume has announced a series of defining milestones, from acquiring institutional staking infrastructure and earning SEC recognition, to launching global alliances, funds, and accelerator programs that connect the entire RWA ecosystem.
Together, these ten announcements mark one truth: Plume is building the programmable, compliant, and global RWA ecosystem.
The foundation of any financial system is trust. In traditional markets, that comes from regulation, transparency, and clear rules. In DeFi, it comes from code, security, and composability.
Plume’s mission has always been to merge those worlds. Here’s how we’re doing it.
Plume earned SEC approval as a registered transfer agent, marking a major step forward in our alignment with smart global regulation.
This license empowers Plume to manage shareholder records, issuances, and dividend distributions. All onchain.
It sets the stage for future onchain IPOs, digital fund administration, and tokenized public company shares.
By aligning DeFi speed with TradFi compliance, Plume is helping design the frameworks that will power the next generation of capital markets.
Our SEC transfer agent license advances Plume’s vision: scaling permissionless innovation built on regulatory clarity.
The world’s largest regulated stablecoin, USDC, is now natively live on Plume, alongside Circle’s CCTP V2 cross-chain protocol.
For over 200K RWA holders and 200+ partners, this unlocks seamless settlement, fiat on- and off-ramps, and frictionless movement of capital across chains.
USDC on Plume powers minting and redemption of pUSD (Plume’s native stablecoin) allowing real-world asset collateral to be tokenized, traded, and settled in a fully reserved, regulated digital dollar.
By combining Circle’s trusted infrastructure with Plume’s institutional-grade RWA ecosystem, the two are setting the standard for how stable value moves in onchain finance.
Deployed in partnership with EY, the Nightfall protocol is launching as a Layer-3 privacy solution on Plume, enabling institutions to conduct compliant, private transactions onchain.
Nightfall brings zero-knowledge privacy to institutional use cases while maintaining transparency for regulators through Plume’s sequencer-level AML and TRM wallet scanning.
“Plume’s leadership in the RWA space positions it well for the development and implementation of a privacy protocol,” said Paul Brody, EY Global Blockchain Leader.
This integration ensures that tokenized credit, real estate, and fund transactions can occur privately, compliant, and at scale.
Plume announced the acquisition of Dinero, the company behind Ethereum’s fastest-growing liquid staking protocol.
Dinero’s products unlock compliant, high-yield staking for Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin, giving institutions more ways to earn on crypto’s most secure assets. All within a regulated environment.
“Dinero’s proven institutional staking solutions are a perfect complement to Plume’s RWA ecosystem,” said Teddy Pornprinya, Plume’s Co-Founder and CBO. “By introducing ETH, SOL, and BTC-based liquid staking, we’re expanding our total addressable market at a time when institutional demand for Ethereum exposure is at an all-time high.”
Together, Dinero and Plume deliver a full-stack experience: compliant tokenization, onchain yield, and native staking.
One of the world’s largest asset managers, Apollo, brought its Diversified Credit Fund (ACRDX) onchain through a collaboration with Centrifuge and Grove Finance, anchored by $50 million in capital.
Accessible via Nest Credit, Plume’s institutional-grade yield protocol, the nACRDX vault tokenizes Apollo’s global credit strategy, giving 200K+ RWA holders exposure to new institutional private credit opportunities.
“The launch of ACRDX on Plume is a major milestone for onchain capital markets and validates our mission to be the home of real-world asset finance,” said Chris Yin, Plume CEO and Co-Founder.
Together, Apollo’s expertise, Centrifuge’s infrastructure, and Plume’s RWA rails bring diversified yield, transparency, and liquidity to the next generation of credit investors.
Nest, Plume’s flagship staking and yield protocol, took a major step forward this September with the launch of its nBasis vault on Plasma. It’s the first multichain Nest deployment and the first time USDT holders can earn institutional-grade yield directly on Nest.
Every Nest vault, including nBasis, is built with integrated compliance and risk controls, giving users access to institutional-level strategies in a simple, transparent onchain vault.
nBasis combines regulated basis trades from futures markets with tokenized treasuries, bringing traditional fixed-income strategies onchain. Yield for nBasis originates from partners like Superstate and Midas, with custodial support from Anchorage, UMB Bank, and Fireblocks.
Deploying on Plasma, Tether’s payments-first blockchain, makes nBasis one of the earliest ways to earn real, institutional-grade stablecoin yield directly in USDT.
Plume launched the Global Real-World Asset Alliance (GRWA), a cross-industry initiative uniting issuers, platforms, regulators, and infrastructure providers to accelerate tokenized asset adoption.
Founding members include WisdomTree, Centrifuge, Morpho, DigiFT, Gate Web3, TopNod, OSL, Mercado Bitcoin, Bitget Wallet, and RWA.xyz, with media partners Messari and Tiger Research supporting research and education.
“The launch of the Global RWA Alliance marks an important step toward unifying a fragmented ecosystem,” said Shukyee Ma, Plume’s Chief Strategy Officer. “By bringing issuers, platforms, and regulators together under a neutral framework, we can accelerate adoption and set the foundation for globally interoperable tokenized markets.”
Operating across the U.S. and Asia-Pacific, the Alliance serves as a neutral, globally connected platform to align education, policy, and distribution.
In partnership with Galaxy Ventures, OKX Ventures, Anchorage Digital, Centrifuge, Keyrock, and Tokenized Asset Coalition, Plume co-launched Ascend, a nine-week accelerator for RWA startups.
Backed by a $500K fund, Ascend equips founders with architecture guidance, legal frameworks, go-to-market playbooks, and institutional mentorship from those who’ve scaled billion-dollar asset platforms.
“At Anchorage Digital, we’ve seen firsthand that institutional adoption hinges on more than just innovation. It requires infrastructure that’s regulated, resilient, and ready to scale.” said Nathan McCauley, CEO of Anchorage Digital. “Ascend gives promising founders the tools to build not just with speed, but with durability.”
From tokenizing credit to innovating compliance layers, Ascend is cultivating the next generation of builders who will shape institutional RWA adoption.
Together with Web3Labs and Cyberport, Plume launched the RWA Bridge Program, the first initiative built under the regulatory frameworks of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
Designed to connect traditional financial institutions with onchain infrastructure, the program provides up to $1M+ in incentives, compliance support, and technical integration on Plume.
Sectors like treasuries, private credit, real estate, and alternative assets are eligible, marking a major step in aligning Asia’s regulatory leadership with Plume’s institutional infrastructure.
Recruitment for the program runs through October, culminating in a Demo Day spotlighting tokenized RWA projects built with full legal and technical support.
Plume was selected for Mastercard’s award-winning Start Path Program, joining a global network of fintechs building the future of digital assets.
As one of only five companies worldwide in this cohort, Plume will collaborate directly with Mastercard product teams, leveraging their expertise and global partner network to integrate digital assets into mainstream finance.
Since its inception, Start Path has supported 500+ startups across 55 countries. Plume’s inclusion signals growing recognition from legacy financial leaders that the future of finance will be built onchain.
In the four short months since Plume has been live on mainnet, we’ve gone from concept to cornerstone: powering institutional credit, compliant staking, privacy rails, and regulatory infrastructure that’s redefining capital markets.
Plume’s position as the RWA ecosystem leader has been validated by independent research:
What takes some networks years to build, Plume has achieved in a single growth cycle.
We’re turning regulation into opportunity, yield into infrastructure, and innovation into trust.
Plume is rewriting the rails of finance. One milestone at a time.
