Plume Welcomes Native USDC & CCTP V2 Integrations with Circle to Power RWAfi

The upcoming launch of native USDC on Plume will empower our community with more seamless access to the world’s largest regulated stablecoin, facilitating a wide range of use cases across RWAfi, DeFi, social applications, and beyond.
With CCTP V2, Plume users will benefit from faster crosschain transfers across supported blockchains, providing secure and cost-efficient transactions.

Bridged vs. Native USDC
Currently, Bridged USDC (USDC.e via Stargate from Ethereum) exists on Plume. Plume will work with ecosystem apps to smoothly migrate from bridged to native USDC over time. There will be no immediate changes to Stargate’s bridge, and it will continue to operate normally. To reduce confusion, the bridged version will remain labeled as “USDC.e” in block explorers and across app UIs and documentation.
